Basketball Betting - Denver (+ 6) vs. Orlando (- 6)

The Denver Nuggets have gone 7 and 3 against the BetUS spread in their last 10 games. Of course, one of those losses against the BetUS spread occurred just last night when the Nuggets almost loss straight-up to the horrid Miami Heat on the road. Denver had to take Miami into the OT in order to secure the win that one. So not cool, Becky! Things don’t get any easier for the Nuggets as they travel to Orlando to take on a Magic team that has gone 4-5-1 against the spread in their last 10 games.
Here are some trends:
The Denver Nuggets are 7 and 1 against the spread in their last 8 games after allowing at least or more than 100 points in their previous game.
The Denver Nuggets are 4 and 1 against the spread in their last 5 games following a loss against the spread.
The Orlando Magic are 6 and 1 against the spread in their last 7 games following a loss against the spread.
The HOME team is 11 and 1 against the spread in the last 12 meetings between these two teams.
At first I thought that this was a tough game to call, but then I started to think about it and I have to admit that I have no faith that the Denver Nuggets will be able to keep this game close after that overtime win against the Heat that they suffered through last night.
I say suffered through because a team like the Nuggets should never be in a position where they have to go to overtime before beating a team like the Heat. Extra minutes on the court, a better chance that their old players go into this game versus Orlando tired, and all of a sudden we’ve go the makings of a blow-out.
Orlando is my play of the night for the simple fact that they are younger, more talented, and they have Dwight Howard. Oh, it doesn’t hurt that they’re at home for this game.

I’m going to put some money on the Magic to beat the BetUS spread. Denver will be wanting to get their asses back to Colorado after that tough game versus the Heat last night.
