NBA Wagering - Golden State vs. New Orleans

The hottest team in the National Basketball Association hits the hardwood tonight when they welcome in the Golden State Warriors for their second meeting of the season. The Warriors enter tonight’s clash winners in 27 of their 46 games this season, and they currently sit 6-games in back of the Pacific Division leading Phoenix Suns. They own a winning mark on the road at 14-11 SU but a sub .500 mark ATS ringing in at 12-13. The Hornets boast the best mark in the Western Conference at 32-12 and they hold a 1-game lead over the Dallas Mavericks in the Southwest Division. The Hornets last took the hardwood on Monday night when they trounced the Carmelo-less Denver Nuggets by a 117-93 final count. They covered the 9.5-point spread with ease and saw the Over cash at home for the 12th time this season. Much has been made about the Hornets stellar play of late, and it’s fully warranted. Chris Paul and company are currently in the midst of a 9-game SU winning streak, and they’ve won 17 of their L/20 since December 17th of last year. They’ve also made their backers plenty of loot during that stretch since they’ve compiled a spectacular 17-3 ATS mark throughout this current streak.
Vegas tagged the Hornets as 8.5-point home chalks in this spot with the ‘Total’ set at 214. Overnight bettors have bought more of New Orleans raising the spread to 9, but they also foresee a higher scoring game that’s seen the ‘Total’ get bet up to 217’.
