NBA Betting - Dallas (- 6.5) vs. Memphis (+ 6.5)

The Mavs have a terrific straight-up record, but when it comes to their record against the spread, they aren’t all that special. They’ve gone 4-4-2 against the spread in their last 10. That’s a far cry from dominance. The Memphis Grizzlies aren’t much better. They’re at 5 and 5 against the spread in their last 10. They picked up a win against the spread in their last game but this game is much different.
Here are some NBA Betting trends:
The Dallas Mavericks are 1-4-2 against the spread in their last 7 games as a favorite.
The Dallas Mavericks are 7 and 1 against the spread in their last 8 meetings versus the Grizzlies in Memphis.
The ROAD team is 5 and 2 against the spread in the last 7 meetings between these two teams.
The Memphis Grizzlies are 4 and 1 against the spread in their last 5 games versus a team from the Western Conference.
What a game, right? Well, no. It’s definitely a game to make money on, but I don’t think it will be that interesting to watch. The Mavs aren’t interesting to begin with and the Grizzlies are just a bad team. So, get onto your BetUS account and bet the Mavs. Maybe put them in a parlay with the Hornets. I don’t love the Mavs tonight, but the trends say Mavs and the Grizzlies - - well, I just don’t have a whole lot of faith in this team.
I think the BetUS against the spread line is exactly where it should be in this game. It’s not at the 10.5 mark which makes me nervous. The Mavs are too good NOT to beat the Grizzlies by at least 8 points, right? I know that some of the trends in this game goes against the Mavs, but I have to believe that they will steadily increase their lead until the end of the game. I’m thinking between 8 and 12 points in this one.
I’m going with the Mavericks.
