NCAA Basketball Odds - Kentucky Wildcats vs. South Carolina Gamecocks

The Kentucky Wildcats, (16-11 SU, 12-11-1 ATS, 10-14 O/U), will have their work cut out for them when they hit the road tonight to take on the South Carolina Gamecocks, (13-15 SU, 12-12 ATS, 9-15 O/U), in an emotional Senior Night matchup that is also the final game of head coach Dave Odom’s illustrious career as he is retiring at the end of the season.
The Wildcats have won nine of their last 11 games but lost a close 63-60 contest at Tennessee on Sunday while the Gamecocks picked up a solid 69-63 win at Auburn on Saturday that snapped a three-game losing streak.
Kentucky defeated South Carolina 78-70 earlier this year in Lexington and is averaging 68.4 points per game on 46.7 percent shooting while allowing 65.4 points per game on 39.1 percent shooting.
The Gamecocks are averaging 72.5 points per game on 44.4 percent shooting while allowing 69.8 points per game on 44.1 percent shooting.
Kentucky has covered the spread in two of its last three games while South Carolina has gone 3-2 against the spread in its last five.

Analysis: Despite being underdogs on the road tonight, I think the Kentucky Wildcats are the correct choice as they are playing their best basketball of the season right now.
