Bet On MLB Baseball – Struggling Mariners Host Improving Rangers

The Texas Rangers, (13-20, 17-13-3 O/U) have struggled since the beginning of the 2008 online betting regular season, but have won six of their last ten games, despite dropping two straight entering this matchup, including a 7-3 loss to the Seattle Mariners, (14-19, 13-17-2 O/U) on Monday.
Seattle, on the other hand, widely expected to compete for the AL West division title if not even more, have floundered all season and have won just three of their last ten games in the BetUS Sportsbook.
After snapping their five-game losing streak with Monday’s victory, the Mariners will turn to veteran right-hander Miguel Batista (2-3, 4.41 ERA), who is coming off a solid performance in his last start as he limited the Cleveland Indians to just one run on four hits in seven innings as Seattle lost 3-2 in 11 innings on Thursday night.
"Hopefully, we can get this thing started. Right now, our goal is to get to .500," Mariners manager John McLaren said.
The Rangers will counter with veteran right-hander Sidney Ponson (1-0, 1.35 ERA) who picked up his first win of the year in his last outing by limiting the Kansas City Royals to one run on six hits and five strikeouts in eight innings.

Analysis: While enigmatic Rangers starter Sidney Ponson looked terrific in his last start, I like the Seattle Mariners to get to him and win this game by getting a solid outing of their own from Miguel Batista.
