NBA Betting - Nuggets (+ 8.5) vs. Hornets (- 8.5)

The Nuggets travel to New Orleans to take on the Hornets. The Nuggets are 5 and 5 against the spread in their last 10 games. The Hornets are 9 and 1 against the spread in their last 10 games. Okay, I think that not only Becky, but all of you BetUS NBA bettors out there are going where I’m going in this game!
Still, let’s double-check those trends:
The Denver Nuggets are 1 and 4 against the spread in their last 5 road games.
The Denver Nuggets are 4 and 1 against the spread in their last 5 games in New Orleans.
The New Orleans Hornets are 7 and 0 in their last 7 games playing on 1 day of rest.
The New Orleans Hornets are 12-2 against the spread in their last 14 games as a FAVORITE.
Let’s be honest, Becky, the Nuggets have little chance of winning this game. Not because I don’t think that they are any good. They are a good team, but they’re a terrible road team. I don’t care about that against the spread trend that the Nuggets have racked up against the Hornets in New Orleans. I care more about this year where the Nuggets have lost to bad teams on the road straight-up.
Against the spread, the Nuggets aren’t much better on the road. The Hornets are just a better team this year than the Nuggets. The Hornets absolutely dominated the San Antonio Spurs in their last game. They beat the Spurs by 24 points on the road.
Come on, Beckster! That means that the Hornets are just as good as any team in the NBA right now. Maybe better. It’s time to forget about the fact that they play in a city with only 100,000 or so residents. It’s time to take these guys for what they are - - a better team than advertised.
They will dominate the Nuggets tonight and continue to work towards the best record in the NBA.
