In the HEAD-to-HEAD NBA betting trends:

New Jersey ranks 29th in the NBA in scoring, but is 16th in scoring on the road (95.8 ppg). The Nets have shot 43.4% for the year and percentage-wise, actually have a better record on the road (10-13 SU) than they do at home (10-15 SU). Also:

* ORL has played six of its last nine home games UNDER the total

New Jersey can't win for losing. Even in a game where they hold L.A.'s Kobe Bryant to six points, they lose the game - at home - and can't even get the cover. The Nets caused some embarrassment for Orlando a little over a month ago when they came right here to the Amway Arena and surged in the fourth quarter to win a come-from-behind, 96-95 decision. But that was then and this is now. Despite the loss to Dallas, Orlando playing a little better over last week and a half, and the Magic seems to have put its Jekyll-and-Hyde, home-away act on the shelf, now having won five of its last six as the host.

We know that at its best, Orlando is a go-go team. And if they're able to execute that kind of game plan, New Jersey, which has scored an average of 90.5 points over its last six games, could get left in the dust. To boot, the Nets are a 33% covering proposition (4-8 ATS) playing the second end of back-to-back games. Really, can't find no compelling reasons to go with the visitor here, unless one wants to look at th recent series history, which considering the Magic's resurgence this season, can hardly be an indicator.

No takers for Jason Kidd yet, but rest assured his bags are packed. Let's lay the points with the Orlando Magic, the 11-point favorite in the BetUS NBA betting odds.
