NBA Basketball Betting – Magic Host Bulls As Both Teams Struggle
By Eric Williams
Despite firing former head coach Scott Skiles nearly one month ago, the Chicago Bulls, (14-21 SU, 12-23 ATS, 19-16 O/U) have still struggled to put together any type of consistency that could lead to an extended winning streak.
The Orlando Magic, (23-16 SU, 25-14 ATS, 20-19 O/U) have also hit a major bump in the road, dropping two straight games and five of their last six, including a 119-115 loss to the Utah Jazz on Saturday, coming into tonight’s contest.
The Magic are back at home after playing their last four games on the road but that may not be a good thing as Orlando is an unimpressive 7-8 SU and ATS at home this season.
The Bulls have alternated wins and losses in each of their last eight games and recently saw its players vote on suspending rookie forward Joakim Noah for two games for various infractions including a blow-up with assistant coach Ron Adams last week.
Chicago’s latest loss came at the hands of the surprising Atlanta Hawks 105-84 on Sunday.
Here is a look at tonight’s Key Trends, followed by my analysis and NBA Betting Free Picks.

The Over is 7-1 in the last eight meetings in Orlando.
The Bulls are 6-1 ATS in the last seven meetings in Orlando.
The Bulls are 11-4 ATS in the last 15 meetings.
Analysis: I’ll be quick and to the point with this selection. While the Bulls are a disorganized bunch this season, the Orlando Magic aren’t playing much better and have had a tough time winning and covering the spread at home this season. Take the Bulls to cover and possibly win outright.
