NBA Betting - Boston Celtics (- 7) vs. Sacramento Kings (+ 7)

The after Christmas hangover may be somewhat alleviated by tonight’s slate of games. This one should actually be better than what many NBA bettors may think as the Sacramento Kings are pretty good at home.

They’ve gone 9 and 4 against the spread so far this year, the Kings, and look to make it ten against the spread when the Boston Celtics come to town.

Here are some trends:

The Boston Celtics are 39-15-1 against the spread in their last 39 road games.

The FAVORITE is 6 and 2 against the spread in the last 8 meetings between these two teams.

The Boston Celtics are 4 and 10 against the spread in their last 14 games versus a team from the NBA Pacific.

The Boston Celtics are 2 and 8 against the spread in the last ten meetings between these two teams.

The seven points is a small number, but I do believe that the fact that the Kings are playing at home works in their favor. They step it up at home and they step it up against the Celtics.

The Kings are by no means a “good” team, but they are good enough to keep this game within reach. They’ve got the guns on offense to stay close and there’s no telling how the Celtics will come out for this one after spending the day with their families yesterday.

I see this as a tough road assignment for the best team in the Eastern Conference. Although not out of the question, thinking the Kings have a shot at the upset, however, might be too much to ask.

The BetUS NBA betting line is Sacramento Kings + 7 against the spread at home versus the Boston Celtics.

I like the Kings to beat that spread.
