The Cleveland Cavaliers, (23-18 SU, 19-22 ATS, 21-19-1 O/U) have won five consecutive games coming into this contest, including an emphatic 121-85 blowout of the Washington Wizards on Wednesday that represented the franchise’s largest margin of victory since 1994.
More importantly, the Cavaliers have covered the spread in four straight games and six of their last seven overall.
The Phoenix Suns, (30-13 SU, 19-23-1 ATS, 22-21 O/U) had their four-game winning streak snapped by the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday, falling to the young Wolves 117-107 while failing to cover the spread for the first time in their last five contests.
Cleveland will be without perimeter sniper Sasha Pavlovic who sprained his left foot against the Wizards.
The Suns are 8-2 SU and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games against the Cavaliers, including a 103-92 home win on Nov. 4.
