NBA Betting Action – Nuggets Take On High-Scoring Warriors

While the Denver Nuggets, (17-11 SU, 13-15 ATS 14-14 O/U) and Golden State Warriors, (17-12 SU, 14-15 ATS, 13-15-1 O/U) are two of the highest scoring teams in the league, neither team can be considered a legitimate title contender because of their respective lack of defense.

Still, both teams have managed to post winning records so far because of their high-powered offenses. The Warriors are averaging a whopping 108.1 points per game to the Nuggets’ 106.8 points per game.

Each team has won two straight games coming into this matchup, with Denver trouncing the Milwaukee Bucks 125-105 on Wednesday and Golden State beating the Minnesota Timberwolves 105-101 the same night.

Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony has been on a tear recently, winning the Western Conference player of the week award after averaging 32.5 points and 12.5 rebounds in his last four games.

The Warriors are getting an MVP-type of season from point guard Baron Davis, (21.9 ppg, 8.0 apg) though it is captain Stephen Jackson, (21.0 ppg) that is Golden State’s heart and soul.
