NBA Betting - Seattle Supersonics vs. Portland Trailblazers

Seattle Supersonics (+ 6) vs. Portland Trailblazers (- 6)
Talk about crashing back down to earth. The Trailblazers, who were on fire just about two months ago, have since lost 7 of their last 10 straight-up. More importantly, they have gone 1 and 9 against the BetUS spread in their last 10 games. Pretty bad. The Sonics have done much better lately going a terrific 6 and 4 against the spread in their last 10.
Here are more trends:
The Seattle Supersonics are 7 and 1 against the spread in their last 8 games versus a team from the Western Conference Division.
The Seattle Supersonics are 4 and 0 against the spread in their last 4 games on a Thursday night.
The Portland Trailblazers are 4 and 1 against the spread in their last 5 games on a Thursday night.
The FAVORITE is 5 and 2 against the spread in the last 7 games between these two teams.
This is a good betting match-up in the sense that us BetUS NBA bettors are getting the Trailblazers at home giving up six points to a team that has been playing better than they have.
As I alluded to in my first paragraph, the Blazers - - well, have blazed their way back to where they were before all of us started jumping on their bandwagon. At one time they were the hottest team in the NBA against the BetUS spread. Now, they might be the worst team in the Western Conference against the BetUS spread. There is absolutely no reason to believe that their slide won’t continue as the Sonics, although not a very good team, still have the best freshman - - er, rookie - - in the NBA in Kevin Durant.
Durant’s presence will more then help this BetUS NBA bettor make his decision regarding this game.
The Sonics should beat this spread.
The BetUS line is Seattle Supersonics + 6 against the spread on the road versus the Portland Trailblazers.
I like the hotter team against the spread in this game. Portland is probably a better team than Seattle, but that shouldn’t translate to a 6 point or more win.
I’m taking the Sonics to beat the spread.
