NBA Betting Trends – Kings (8-12) at Celtics (17-2)

The Boston Celtics are a perfect 10-0 at home while the Sacramento Kings are also perfect on the road – at 0-8 that is.
Not only are the Celtics, (13-5-1- ATS, 7-11-1 O/U) perfect at home this season, but they have been absolutely destroying opponents, winning their home contests by an average of 21.2 points per game.
The Kings, (11-9 ATS, 10-9-1 O/U) are going to have a tough way to go against Boston’s league-leading defense, which is allowing a microscopic 87.7 points per game to their bewildered opponents.
Heck, in Boston’s six-game winning streak, they have given up an unheard-of average of just 80.3
Sacramento will be without their leading scorer, Kevin Martin, who was averaging 24.5 points this season before injuring his groin last Tuesday against Utah. The Kings are also without point guard Mike Bibby who has been out all season with an injury.
Sacramento beat the Milwaukee Bucks 96-93 at home on as backup shooting guard John Salmons had 22 points starting in place of Martin and Brad Miller had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
The Celtics beat the Chicago Bulls 92-81 on Saturday.

Analysis: Once again beloved NBA basketball bettors, while the outcome of this game certainly isn’t in doubt, the high 14.5-point spread should give bettors reason to weigh this wager very carefully before blindly selecting the red-hot Celtics.
As a matter of fact, I say take the Kings to cover the high spread as they haven’t lost by more than 14 points once in their last 10 contests and have been boosted by the return of defensive ace Ron Artest.
