Golden State is the league's leading team in scoring at home, averaging a whopping 113 points a contest. Defense has, of course, suffered, as the Warriors permit 45.9% field goals on the part of their opponents. However, they have a 1.7 ratio of assists-to-turnovers. Also:

'Tis the season - of all-star snubs, that is, and Baron Davis of the Warriors makes that list this year. The outstanding Golden State point guard simply became a victim of the numbers game, with players like Steve Nash and Brandon Roy and Chris Paul making the Western Conference squad. These guys have a tendency to give it a little extra effort when they find themselves in front of a national TV audience, so look for Davis to turn it up a notch.
Chicago, which has covered four out of 12 in playing the second of back-to-back games, sometimes comes back and scores more the second night, as they did in Miami on January 16, racking up 126 points. That was a Little healthier Chicago squad then, but these guys are coming off consecutive shooting performances of 46%, 46% and 50% in the last three, indicating there's hope that they can put the ball in the basket with a little more consistency.
Golden State in on a string that has seen the Warriors average over 115 points a game over the last nine. Not coincidentally, eight of those nine games have gone over the total. Since the warriors are indeed the NBA's most high-octane team when it comes to scoring at home, we think this is a manageable total. We're going to move "over" the 212 points, as it is posted in the BetUS NBA basketball betting odds.
JAY'S PLAY: OVER 212
