NBA Basketball Betting – Chicago at Orlando

WHO: Chicago Bulls (14-21 SU, 12-23 ATS) at Orlando Magic (23-16 SU, 25-14 ATS)

WHERE: Amway Arena in Orlando

WHEN: Tuesday, January 15 at 7 PM ET

BetUS NBA betting odds: ORLANDO -6, Total: 198.5

In the HEAD-to-HEAD NBA basketball betting trends:

* CHI has covered 11 of the last 15 meetings

* CHI has won 10 of the last 15 meetings SU

* ORL has won four of the last six meetings SU

* Five of the last seven meetings have gone OVER the total

* CHI has won and covered six of the last seven meetings as the road team

* Seven of the last eight meetings in Orlando have gone OVER the total

Chicago averages 93.9 points per game and only 90.8 ppg on the road. The Bulls allow opponents to shoot just under 45% from the field. Chicago's assist-turnover ratio is 1.6, which is not bad. Also:

* CHI has covered one of its last five games

* CHI has playes six of its last seven games OVER the total

* CHI has played four of its last six road games OVER the total

The Magic averages 103.8 points a game. But they have allowed 232 pointsover their last two, dropping decisions at Utah and Denver. The Magic gives up 100.4 points a contest playing at home. Also:

* ORL has lost five of its last six games SU

* ORL has covered two of its last seven games

* ORL has won and covered two of its last eight home games

The Magic is the Jekyll-and-Hyde story of the NBA, performing much better on the road (18-6 ATS) than at home (7-8 ATS). But they're still at a higher level of offensive efficiency than are the Bulls, who are still the NBA's worst shooting team (41.7%) and shot just 35% against the Hawks last time out. Orlando has not hit below 45% of its shots in any of its last five games. Of course, Orlando has lost five of its last six contests. But at least they have the ability to hit from beyond the arc (in fact, they average 8.9 three-pointers per game) which can come in handy if Chicago starts to run very cold. Dwight Howard has had an incredible 33 double-doubles on the season, and at this point he is much more dynamic than his Chicago counterpart, Ben Wallace.

We'll lay the points at home with the Orlando Magic, the six-point favorite in the BetUS NBA basketball betting odds.
