While the Cleveland Browns, (10-6 SU, 12-4 ATS, 9-6-1 O/U) recorded a surprising 10-6 record in 2007 and narrowly missed out on reaching the 2007 playoffs, the Browns certainly won’t be sneaking up on anyone in 2008, though the team did add several veteran free agent players this offseason in the hopes of, not only reaching the postseason in 2008, but causing some damage once they reach their stated destination.

The BetUS online sports wagering community should know that the Browns recorded absolutely jaw-dropping wagering statistics in 2007, though oddsmakers everywhere will likely adjust their thinking on Cleveland as expectations will be raised across the board.

I think the Browns could win this game - with a bit more experience. Loss

Cleveland gets its first road victory of the season in this contest. Win

The Jags win this one going away. Loss

The Browns aren’t ready for the seasoned Indianapolis Colts just yet. Loss

Somehow, some way, the Titans will win this late-season matchup. Loss

12/15/08 @ Philadelphia Eagles

No way do the Browns beat the Eagles in Philly. Loss

12/21/08 Cincinnati Bengals

The Browns get a much-needed win in this contest. Win

12/28/08 @ Pittsburgh Steelers

The Browns will need this win really bad, but won’t get it. Loss

Analysis: I’ve got the Browns winning eight games exactly in 2008 as they won’t catch anyone off-guard this season, though I would lean toward the nine wins and the Over when forced to make a pick. Besides, I’ll admit that the Browns have gone about their business this offseason like they’re going to be a playoff participant in 2008.
