The Wildcats are deep in talent, with 11 lettermen returning and an excellent recruiting class. The Wildcats were pleased when junior point guard Mustafa Shakur pulled out of the NBA draft, but they were downright relieved when freshman wing Marcus Williams opted against turning pro. Williams could be the Pac-10 player of the year. Chase Budinger may be one of the best freshmen ever to play at the school.
