NCAA Big 10 Quarterfinal Pick – Minnesota vs. Indiana
by Eric Williams
The Minnesota Golden Gophers, (19-12 SU, 13-13 ATS, 11-15 O/U), have struggled in their last ten games, winning just five times, but Tubby Smith’s team picked up a solid 55-52 win over Northwestern in last night’s Big Ten Conference Tournament matchup.
The Indiana Hoosiers, (25-6 SU, 13-14-1 ATS, 15-13 O/U), have won seven of their last ten games in the BetUS.com Sportsbook but were beaten by the mediocre Penn State Nittany Lions last Sunday in their Big Ten regular season finale.
The Hoosiers have also dropped two of their last three, getting routed by an average Michigan State team. 103-74 on March 2.

The Hoosiers are 5-5 against the spread in their last ten games, but have struggled lately, going just 1-4 against the spread in their last five games while the Golden Gophers have gone 5-5 against the spread in their last ten games and 2-2 against the spread in their last four games.
Here is a look at tonight’s Key Trends, followed by my NCAA Basketball Picks.
The Golden Gophers are 3-8 ATS in their last eleven Friday games.
The Golden Gophers are 2-6 ATS in their last eight games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.
The Hoosiers are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 neutral site games.
The Hoosiers are 3-7 ATS in their last ten games following a S.U. loss.
The Under is 4-0 in Golden Gophers last four vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.
The Under is 6-0 in Hoosiers last six neutral site games.
The Under is 4-0 in the last four meetings.
Analysis: While the Hoosiers have struggled lately, they seem to have Minnesota’s number down cold and should be able to cover this spread against a team that hasn’t exactly been scaring anyone lately, despite their improvements in the venerable Smith’s first season at the helm.
