The Blazers go into this game with a chip on their shoulders. It’s not because they have had a fantastic year. No, it’s because no matter how badly they’ve played - - and Portland has had stretches of ineptitude this season - - they haven’t played nearly as bad as their Washington state rivals, the Seattle Supersonics. It’s the pride of Oregon versus the soon to be pride of Oklahoma tonight as the Blazers travel to the Emerald City to take on the Sonics.

I do believe that the Blazers could cover in this game, but more than likely, we’re looking at a serious under game. The Blazers could easily score close to 100 points. Unless the Blazers run up and down the court and loft three-pointers all night, I see this game being very defensive in the sense that the Sonics have little chance of reaching that 100 point plateau.

The Sonics have scored over 100 in their last two games, but against a Portland team that they seem to play tough anyway, I expect a game in the mid-90s. That means under.
