NBA Basketball Odds – Hornets Look to Sting Bulls
While the Chicago Bulls, (26-39 SU, 29-36 ATS, 34-29-2 O/U), have floundered since the start of the regular season amid constant Kobe Bryant trade rumors involving many of the team’s young players, the New Orleans Hornets, (44-21 SU, 39-25-1 ATS, 31-33-1 O/U), have been, arguably, the best feel-good story of the season, with their stellar play against nearly every opponent they’ve faced this season.
While the Bulls maintain their slim hopes for reaching the playoffs in the eastern conference, just 1 1/2 games behind the Atlanta Hawks and New Jersey Nets for the eighth and final spot, the Hornets, who are also just 1 1/2 games behind the western conference-leading Houston Rockets, know they can’t afford many slip-ups down the stretch in the tight western conference postseason race.
