The Tampa Bay Rays will send returning pitcher, Scott Kazmir, to the mound this Sunday as they travel to Boston to take on the Red Sox in online baseball betting action. This will be Kazmir’s first start of season. They sure aren’t holding back, are they? Kazmir finally gets his start this year and it’s against the defending world champions? Kazmir was pretty good last year racking up a 13 and 9 record with a 3.48 ERA. He struck out 239 batters in 206.2 innings. Those aren’t bad stats.

The problem, of course, is that Kazmir is facing the Boston Red Sox. The BoSox send out pitcher Jon Lester to the mound. Lester is 1 and 2 on the season with a 4.31 ERA. He hasn’t been brilliant but when you’ve got that Boston Red Sox batting line-up providing runs for you, you don’t have to do much to keep your team in it.

Here are my personal online sportsbook betting lines for this Sunday game.

Tampa Bay Rays

Scott Kazmir – L + 1 ½ - 135 + 165 O 10 ½ - 115

Boston Red Sox

Jon Lester – L - 1 ½ + 150 - 145 U 10 ½ - 105

There’s no telling how Kazmir will pitch this Sunday but based on what he did last year, I expect him to come out with some fire. Kazmir is a tough guy and tough guys usually spell profits for overall baseball betting.

He has to be sound as the Rays wouldn’t send him to Boston to take on the Red Sox unless he was ready.

Because of that I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that the Rays win this game straight-up. Once the BetUS sportsbook online betting odds come out for this game Sunday morning, I expect to look like an idiot. Why? Because the Rays will probably be a much higher price then the + 165 I’ve listed above to win this game straight-up.

I’ll look an idiot, I might be an idiot, but I will be a happy idiot! The higher betting odds mean a higher online pay-out. That’s what I’m searching for!

If the BetUS MLB odds in the Tampa Bay Rays vs. Boston Red Sox game on Sunday is anywhere close to Rays + 165, I’m going with the Rays to upset the Red Sox.

I do believe that Kazmir will come back with something to prove. The Red Sox might take the Rays lightly this Sunday as well. That could help me with this online wager.
