Horse Racing Query

by Tom M.

Dear Bookie,

What does the term two bet play mean in horse racing? Does it mean I bet two horses to win in the same race?

Thanks for your time.

Tom M.

Bookie:

Hi Tom,

Perhaps you mean two horse parlay. That’s where you bet two horses in different races and if the first horse wins all the money goes on horse number two in the parlay.

If horse number two loses, you lose all. If they both win you have a huge payoff...

Thank you very much for your query.

Sincerely,

Bookie’s Assistant
