If you bet on NHL play, Wednesday and Thursday's slate features dynamic action. There are five games on tap Wednesday highlighted by a great East matchup between Atlantic-leading Rangers and second-place Pittsburgh, starting at 7:00pm EST.
Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin are lighting the lamp with regularity, following a relatively slow start as the duo attempts to end to their recent woes at Madison Square Garden, where the Pens have lost six straight and are 2-7-3 in their last 12 games there. Crosby is coming off his second career hat trick and has six goals in his last three games, meanwhile, Malkin continues to lead the NHL with 39 points.
Dany Sabourin owns a league-leading 1.84 GAA since replacing Marc-Andre Fleury but has faced the Rangers only once, resulting in a 4-0 loss on Dec. 18, 2007 in New York. Henrik Lundqvist will be in net for the Rangers, who have sparkled versus Pittsburgh over the past two seasons, going 9-4-2 with a 1.89 GAA. This promises to be a great online NHL betting event. BetUS NHL odds slightly favors New York at -130 with a game total of 5½ under -135.
On Thursday, the NHL wagering community will be treated to ten stellar events, which again features the Pens and Rangers. Both hit the road, and after Wednesday's meeting that figures to be hard fought, fatigue could play a factor and make their respective hosting opponents a solid investment. Pittsburgh will be at Carolina and the Rangers travel to Montreal.
