NASCAR Pepsi 500 Betting Six Pack

by BetUS Staff

The best drivers in NASCAR, Carl Edwards and Kyle Busch, finished one two in last weekend’s race but it wasn’t without incident.

Carl bumped Kyle out of the way in order to grab the lead. That pissed Kyle off. So, he rammed Carl after the race causing Carl’s car to spin. Carl then rammed him back. So the two best drivers in NASCAR don’t like each other. Oh, well. It might be for online betting fans, right? The harder those guys race the better it is for NASCAR betting fans to find overlays when making online betting wagers.

Edwards and Busch were placed on probation for the next six weeks. That pretty much means nothing. If they screw up again, then they could be suspended for a race. I doubt that will happen. NASCAR is like any other sports organization. They aren’t going to keep two of their most popular drivers on the sidelines.

Let’s get to this Sunday’s race!

Pepsi 500 Best Online Wagering Interests

1. Jeff Gordon online odds + 1400 - - Gordon had a terrific run last weekend. He looked like he might challenge for the win but he needed the points to stay in the top 12. So, he played it safe going down the stretch. I don’t expect him to play it safe this weekend. The cars are coming round, Jeff is driving better, and his crew is getting ready for the Chase.

2. Kyle Busch online odds + 400 - - The NASCAR betting odds are incredibly low on Kyle but he’s going to come out swinging in this. He won’t let last weekend’s issue with Carl deter him at all from sticking it to the rest of NASCAR by winning this race. He’s the likeliest winner…again.

3. Kevin Harvick online odds + 3000 - - Like Gordon, Harvick had to play it safe to keep himself in the top twelve last weekend. Not this Sunday. Harvick should go for the victory. I think the odds are perfect on this driver whose crew is starting to come around - - just like Gordon, actually.

4. Jimmie Johnson online odds + 525 - - Jimmie won this race last year. He was terrible last weekend. The crew and team have too much pride to not come out and get things going this Saturday. Yes, even at the low online betting odds.

5. Clint Bowyer online odds + 5000 - - Bowyer looked great early on in last weekend’s race, then his “favorite” driver, Michael Waltrip, screwed him up some. What did Bowyer have to say about that? He stated over the radio that Waltrip had to be “the worst driver in NASCAR”. It was funny because the announcers didn’t even question him on it. Ha! Maybe Bowyer takes some of that disappointment from last week and carries it over to this race.

6. Matt Kenseth online odds + 800 - - Kenseth won the first race at this track in 2007 in February. He also won the Nationwide race on this track in 2007 in February. That makes Kenseth a serious player on Sunday night. He could definitely win this.

Good Luck!
