No offense to Dallas or anything, but they look like children against Detroit. You remember when a little brother would try to play sports with his older brother’s friends, and they would just tool around with him and laugh, trying as half as hard as they potentially could to take it easy on him, but never really let him get up in the game. Ok, that was a ridiculously long sentence, but you get my drift. Dallas is great, but they’re not even close to the level of the Red Wings.

We’re talking about a surprising Stars team that averaged 2.96 goals per game through the playoffs, until they hit the brick wall in Motor City which has held them to 1.75 goals per game in this sports betting series. Turco’s woes against the Red Wings have continued, and it’s not like we can expect Holmqvist to be the savior of Dallas.

What’s absolutely insane about Game 3 of this online betting event is that Detroit throttled Dallas 5-2 on the road, without their leading playoff scorer, Johan Franzen. That’s a three-goal deficit to a team that previously went 4-1 SU in their last 5 home games.
