Bet On MLB Baseball – Chicago White Sox at Los Angeles Angels
The Los Angeles Angels, (23-17, 19-21 RL) snapped their four-game sports betting losing streak in a big way, pounding the Chicago White Sox, (18-19, 21-16 RL) 10-7 on Monday.
"It was good to see some guys break out. We did a good job with runners in scoring position," manager Mike Scioscia said.
After knocking White Sox starter Mark Buehrle to the tune of eight runs, (six earned), on 10 hits in 5 2/3 innings, the Angels enter tonight’s matchup looking for more of the same.
"They hit some balls in some perfect places." Pierzynski said. "They found holes, and Vladdy obviously had the big blow. Then it kind of started to snowball from there."
The White Sox, who have dropped two consecutive games in the BetUS Sportsbook and have allowed 20 runs in their last three combined, will hand the ball to flame-throwing right-hander John Danks (3-3, 3.18 ERA) who is coming off a solid outing in his last start, limiting the Minnesota Twins to two runs on six hits five innings as Chicago won 6-2 on Thursday.
Los Angeles is hoping veteran right-hander Jered Weaver (2-5, 5.59) can rebound from his worst start of the season after allowing a career-high eight runs on 10 hits in just 3 1/3 innings of Wednesday's 9-4 road loss to the Kansas City Royals.
"The problem was command," said Weaver. "I was just leaving balls up. It was just one of those days. No excuses.
"Everything felt good mechanically," Weaver told the Angels' official team Web site. "My arm felt good. It's just one of those days. It's been one of those years so far."

Analysis: I’m advising MLB bettors to go with the Chicago White Sox and John Dankstonight as I have absolutely no faith in Angels’ starter Jered Weaver after getting pounded for the better part of the season so far. Until I see another strong performance from Weaver, I say stay away from the Angels in his starts.
