Boxing Rules
Should a contest be postponed, bets will stand for thirty days, inclusive of the original date for the contest. Stakes maybe refunded before the re-arranged contest by mutual consent.
A boxing match takes place over a determined number of three-minute rounds. A half-round is defined as ninety seconds. The fight can be stopped at any point and the result given by the referee. If the fight goes the distance, (all scheduled rounds are completed) a decision is given by ringside judges (a points decision). The decision that is declared the night of the fight will be considered final and used when grading wagers. Wagers will not be re-graded if the decision is overturned at a later point in time.
If either fighter is replaced with another fighter all bets will be void and stakes returned. For betting purposes the fight is deemed to have started when the bell is sounded for the beginning of the 1st round.
Round-By-Round Betting: Where a boxer fails to answer the bell for the next round, his opponent will be deemed to have won the contest in the previous round. If for any reason a points decision is awarded before the full number of rounds are completed, bets will be settled on the round in which the fight was stopped. Bets which nominate 'to win on points' will only be deemed winners if the full number of rounds are completed.
To win the fight: If the wagering offer on a match includes the draw as a third option and the match ends in a draw, wagers on the draw will be paid, while wagers on either fighter will be lost. If the wagering offer includes only the two boxers, with the draw either not offered or offered as a separate proposition, and the match ends in a draw, wagers on either fighter will be refunded. All bets will have action regardless of changes to number of rounds to be fought.
How will the fight be won: Prices will be offered for each fighter to win by KO or Decision and for the fight to be a draw. KO includes TKO and disqualification. Decision includes TD (Technical Decision). Draw includes Technical Draw. All bets will have action regardless of changes to number of rounds to be fought.
Number of rounds: Prices will be offered for the fight to go more or less than a specified number of rounds. If the scheduled length of the match is changed, all prior wagers on the number of rounds the bout will last will be graded as 'No Action'
